Immerse yourself in a vibrant showcase of creativity in the charming village of Pittenweem in the picturesque East Neuk of Fife. This isn't your typical gallery experience. It's a unique opportunity to connect with over 190 artists in a more personal and intimate setting.
As you wander through Pittenweem, prepare to be enchanted by an array of stunning artworks. This festival celebrates the joy of art in everyday spaces, making it more accessible and relatable. Engage directly with the artists, gain insights into their creative process, and even take home a unique piece of art. The festival not only showcases a diverse range of art but also highlights the natural beauty and cultural richness of Pittenweem.
It's an unforgettable experience where art, community, and the scenic beauty of the East Neuk intertwine to create a truly magical event.

Invited Artists 2026:
Ella Mackay
The Pittenweem Arts Festival is delighted to welcome Glasgow-based puppet maker and puppeteer Ella Mackay as an Invited Artist for 2026.
Working at the intersection of sculpture, performance, and storytelling, Mackay creates captivating puppets and theatrical experiences that explore empathy, imagination, and our connection to the objects around us.
Throughout the Festival, she will transform the Art Rooms into a vibrant creative space featuring an exhibition of her work, performances, workshops, micro-cinema screenings, and pop-up events across the village. In a world increasingly mediated by screens, her tactile, human-scale performances offer a rare and powerful form of connection.

Acclaimed Scottish storyteller, illustrator, and printmaker Morvern Graham joins the Pittenweem Arts Festival as an Invited Artist for 2026.
Inspired by Scottish and Scandinavian folklore, Graham creates atmospheric prints, illustrations, and storytelling experiences that explore the connections between landscape, myth, and memory. Selkies move through northern waters, unseen beings inhabit the edges of perception, and the boundaries between reality and folklore dissolve like mist over the East Neuk coastline.
Her immersive exhibition will transport visitors into a world of folklore and imagination, while storytelling sessions and the whimsical Folkloria Walk will bring ancient tales to life throughout the village. Rooted in the East Neuk, her work offers a captivating journey into the stories that shape our sense of place and belonging.

2026 Emerging Artists Exhibition

Weathered - Manx Beauty
Drawing inspiration from the historic Manx Beauty herring drifter, Weathered – Manx Beauty is a collaborative exhibition between the Cellardyke Trust and Pittenweem Arts Festival that showcases the work of artists and makers from across the East Neuk. Responding to fragments of the vessel, participating artists transform pieces of maritime history into contemporary artworks that reflect themes of memory, community, craftsmanship, and the enduring connection between people and the sea.
