This will be my 17th year at the festival, I have been a full time artist for 20 years and love every minute of it. I started setting pigments and lacquers on fire to create different effects on the canvas and called it Flaming Art I still use a blowtorch now and then but mostly a hot air gun it’s a little less dramatic but safer. 

Currently I’m doing a range of Penguin book paintings with a Rabbie Burns quote on it with a twist from me they have been very popular this year
