OPEN ART EXHIBITION

A CHANCE FOR YOUR WORK TO BE SEEN IN OUR NEW OPEN ART VENUE AT NEXT YEAR'S FESTIVAL

Are you an emerging artist looking for a breakthrough opportunity to showcase your talent? We invite you to submit your artwork to the Open Art Exhibition at this year's Pittenweem Arts Festival.

Our dedicated gallery space at 47 High Street is a central hub for artists and art enthusiasts alike, and this year will offering a well-located and vibrant environment where your work will be seen by thousands of visitors.

This is your chance to shine in one of Scotland's most celebrated art festivals. Whether you specialise in painting, sculpture, photography, or any other form, we welcome you to contribute to this rich tapestry of artistic expression.

Let your creativity take centre stage at the Pittenweem Arts Festival, where art meets opportunity in the picturesque East Neuk of Fife.

HOW TO TAKE PART

Please note - 2024's Open Art Exhibition is now closed.

  • You can submit one work of art which must be no bigger than 16 x 20" (40 x 50cm) including frame. There will be a limit on the number of works we can accept due to the available space, so please submit your piece as soon as possible during the submissions period.
  • Paintings/drawings/prints must be ready to hang with picture rings and cord. No clip frames.
  • Label your work clearly on the back: your name, title of work, medium and price.
  • Attach a luggage label with the same information to hang below the artwork.
  • Drop off your artwork over the submissions weekend - on Saturday July 27th or Sunday 28th between 10.00 and 2.00pm. Complete the form, print and bring it with your artwork and fee to the Festival Office, 47 High Street, Pittenweem, Fife, KY10 2PG. You do not need to submit the form in advance.
  • We will manage the gallery, display and help sell your work. The submission costs £15 (the fee pays for the dedicated gallery staff) and if you sell your work you will receive the full price. Payment will be made after the Festival concludes.
  • Unsold work must be collected on Saturday 10th August between 5.00 and 6.00pm or Sunday 11th August, between 10.00 and 12.00 noon. The festival cannot store or take responsibility for any uncollected work.
