Joyce believes that every child is born with an inner line as unique as his or her fingerprint. The only guiding maxim in drawing is discipline and persistence.
She has been drawing heads, mostly of writers and poets, over a period of forty years. Her drawings are in the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, the National Gallery of Ireland and several universities.
If you are interested in drawing heads, a beginner or already well practised, come along and I will offer a wee introduction and guidance. Look forward to seeing you there!
Bring your own drawing materials, board etc.
